About Me:
Hi! I may look like just a handsome spaniel, but I have a very important job: I’m a cardiac alert assistance dog. My story hasn’t always been smooth. I was born in Hungary and sent to Qatar as a puppy, but by the time I was 10 months old, my first family couldn’t handle my energy and needs, so I was rehomed.
That’s when everything changed. I found my person and she quickly noticed something special about me. I started alerting her before she got dizzy or fainted, even before she knew what was going on. Thanks to me (you’re welcome!), she pursued medical tests and was finally diagnosed with PoTS and other conditions. From that moment on, we became a real team.

Now, I help keep her safe every day. I never take my eyes off her, and I always let her know when she needs to sit or rest before her symptoms hit. Thanks to me, she has a whole new quality of life and together, we’ve already traveled to 18 countries! None of that would have been possible without our strong bond.

But that’s not all we do. My human and I also work tirelessly to raise awareness about the amazing things assistance and therapy dogs can do for people. We visit schools, universities, and exhibitions around the Gulf states, showing others just how life-changing dogs like me can be. Thanks to these visits, and my irresistible charm, many people have changed the way they see dogs, especially in places where dogs aren’t always fully understood or accepted.

Fun fact: I was born right here in Hungary, so it’s pretty special that I returned years later to train and get certified in Kecskemét with Kutyával Egy Mosolyért Alapítvány. I guess you could say I came full circle. Paw-five, Charlie 🐾
