Hi I am Panni, a Pug girl, born on 20.02.2018. I was 8 weeks old when I was adopted, and at that time nobody knew that I would be a therapy and assistance dog. My owner and I started to go to dog school, where we learned a lot of things and in one of the sessions we learned agility basics. There my owner saw that I really liked this sport. She was looking for a dog school that offered agility training, and that’s how we found Dogs for a Smile Foundation.
It was there that Ágota, the head of the dog school, discovered that I had the potential to be a therapy dog.
My owner and I talked about it and we started the training. We practiced a lot, we prepared, we went everywhere, especially to places where there were many children. Finally, in October 2022, we passed the therapy dog exam. I really like working with children because when I do something well, I get a lot of reward bites from them.
