About Me:
I was still living with my mum when an aunt did all sorts of things with me, but she also used to stroke me a lot, and then she took me far away to my foster parents. She was a girl in high school, and she named me Doc because she thought it would be my mission to cure someone. Nevertheless, on the first day I gave evidence of my foolishness when I suddenly appeared with a huge bucket on my head and ran around the yard. Who had chosen me, and who had been following my every mischief from the time I was in foster care, took me in when I was a year old and we set to work hard to make me the world’s most superb helper dog worthy of the name. Not to brag, but even he thought I was a genius.

There are several favourite parts of my day. One is when my Little owner takes out his running leash and harness and we go for a run. The other is when he gets my food together and we train, learning new, sometimes mindless tricks. I’m very good at that.
But above all, what’s my absolute favorite is when he takes out his special leash and harness and we go to school, to the store, to travel, so I’m working. We’re a certified team now, so I can go anywhere with him. I’m always very tired at these times, but it makes me happy to be able to help my Little owner. As I said, the Little owner has taught me a lot of unnecessary, albeit funny, tricks, but some of them are very useful. For example, I have a special mat for when we are at school and I have to lie on it while he is studying. Then I know deep pressure therapy and many other things. All this to make it easier for us to achieve the big goals we have set for ourselves.
